Vocal Coaching & Audition Prep - for Actors & Singers
Music for Theatre CHICAGO offers one-on-one audition coaching and preparation for actors and singers. Rates are $50 per one hour session or a package of (3) sessions for $120. Sessions include rehearsal recordings suitable for practice at home or for an audition setting. Professional actors, community theatre actors and teens have all benefited from our insight and coachings.

Original Scores for Plays and Film - Composition Services
Music for Theatre CHICAGO collaborates with many professional and local theater companies to provides a Music Director/Piano Conductor who trains and vocally prepares casts for performances and serves as the rehearsal accompanist. Additionally, we can determine proper orchestration based on venue and budget and contact musicians to play for each show's run if requested. Music Director & Piano Conductor
Adding music to a straight play can do wonders for a production. At Music for Theatre Chicago, we love having the artistic freedom of creating a soundscape or score for films and straight plays. Concepts are developed in production meetings with Directors along with readings of the script or screen play. Recent projects include, 'YELLOWMAN,' for Fleetwood Jourdain Theatre and 'In the Read & Brown Water,' a mainstage show at Northwestern University. Tell us about your concept and we will create a score that embraces your vision while captivating your audiences.
Music for Theatre CHICAGO - Shows
In 2016, Music for Theatre CHICAGO began producing it's own full scale musicals and cabarets. Audition notices are posted so that actors can schedule in advance. For most of our Directors, the rehearsal period is 10 weeks. Shows are chosen by our production team and Board of Directors.
