Christie Chiles Twillie started Music for Theatre Chicago in 2013 after realizing it was time to combine her artistic passions and talents. She has worked as a musical theatre pianist and music director for over 15 years. Christie's Bachelors and Masters studies were in Piano Performance at West Virginia University/ She also has minor in Dance from WVU. Christie is the Artistic and Operations Director for Piano Lessons In Your Home and spends much of her free time immersing herself in teaching piano, vocal coaching and theatre arts. Among her favorite musical theatre credits are Oliver, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweeney Todd, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cabaret (1998 Version), The Fantasticks, Spamalot, Urinetown, The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella. She is very excited about her fall project, A Little Night Music at the Devonshire Cultural Center.
